Axum Supplier Gateway

Tapping into products and services that extend beyond a locally-maintained database is becoming progressively more important to tour operators and travel agents alike. Axum’s Supplier Gateway utilises Web Services and XML to tap into third-party specialised search engines, to give you seamless integration with your local products when building quotes and bookings.

For example, a consultant is able to instigate an external hotel search from inside a quote or a booking, choose hotel, rooming and options then confirm. Following which, Axum will add all the relevant information (hotel name, description, room types, grade of service, options etc.), into the active file, including financial information and payment record (depending on type of contract). The imported hotel can form part of package price, or can be presented to the client as a separate price element.

Axum Technology is adding more and more sources to this service (currently hotels). Clients can selectively choose which sources to connect to as their businesses demand.
